Grand Hyatt DFW unveiled a $34 million renovation, enhancing guest experiences with updated rooms and stylish public spaces executed by general contractor, Digney York.
Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas – March 11, 2026: Grand Hyatt DFW has completed a $34 million multi-phased renovation executed by Digney York Associates, starting in July 2025, coinciding with the hotel’s 20th anniversary. Updates included all guest accommodations, public spaces, meeting spaces, amenities, and an expansion from 298 to 315 rooms and suites.
Aligning all spaces with an aeronautical theme, the renovation centers on the guest experience from arrival through departure. Guests are welcomed into a refreshed lobby featuring a new terrazzo floor with brass inlay, wood paneling, enhanced accent lighting, and artwork from local artists.
Dining spaces were also redesigned, including updates to the Grand Met restaurant and lounge. The renovation increases seating capacity and introduces private and semi-private dining rooms designed to accommodate gatherings of varying sizes while offering an elevated gourmet experience.
The hotel’s more than 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space now includes a new top-floor boardroom and a distinctive indoor/outdoor rooftop venue overlooking the runways at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
Refreshed guest rooms feature Grand Hyatt beds with stitched leather headboards and integrated lighting, spacious closets, and updated bathrooms with large vanities, tubs, and showers. Each room also includes large HD flat-screen TVs, additional charging ports, customizable eco-friendly thermostats, improved lighting controls, and programmed blackout curtains and shades.
