Ann Versteeg is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Digney York, a position she has held since 2001. Her extensive role encompasses oversight of the company’s accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, human resources and benefits, as well as information technology. As CFO, Ann plays a central role in steering the company’s financial strategy and ensuring the effective management of its resources.
Ann’s tenure at Digney York began in 1992 when she joined the company as the Controller. Her exceptional performance and leadership led to her promotion to CFO, and she has also served as Secretary for the Board of Directors. Her deep-rooted commitment and broad expertise have been instrumental in shaping the company's financial health and operational efficiency.
Before her time at Digney York, Ann gained valuable experience as an auditor and senior accountant at the public accounting firm now known as Aronson LLC. This background provided her with a solid foundation in auditing and accounting practices that continue to inform her approach at Digney York.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Maryland, Ann is a respected member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). Ann graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, reflecting her academic excellence and dedication to her field.
Her leadership, combined with her comprehensive experience and professional credentials, positions Ann as a key figure in Digney York’s continued success and growth.
