The Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill has completed a nine-month renovation project in preparation for its 50th anniversary in 2026.

Washington, D.C. – March 7, 2025 (Updated November 2025): Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill has finished an extensive renovation designed to reaffirm the hotel’s position as a premier destination for accommodations and conventions in Washington, D.C. Digney York Associates is proud to serve as the general contractor for the project.

The renovation enhances all 840 guest rooms and suites with updated furnishings and finishes, elevating comfort and design while contributing to the hotel’s refreshed look ahead of its 50th anniversary. Located steps from the U.S. Capitol, the hotel provides easy access to the National Mall’s renowned museums and landmarks, including the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress.
