The legendary Mondrian Los Angeles now boasts of an audacious $19 million transformation by Digney York Associates.

The redesign pulls inspiration from the Alice and Wonderland Fantasyland combined with the timeless nostalgia of old Hollywood glamour meant to incorporate wonder and excitement, while creating an inviting, comfortable hotel experience for guests.

All 236 guestrooms were redesigned to beckon guests to step through a modern-day looking glass into a sleek and contemporary room with just a touch of whimsy and enchantment with all new finishes and furnishings. Guest bathrooms with marble tile and glowing mirrors were updated for a guest experience that allows one to step back, relax and enjoy an escape from reality.

The Hilton Key Largo started out as a typical renovation and swelled into a complete reconstruction emerging as the new Curio Baker’s Cay Resort.

This beachfront resort is located on the Gulf side of the Overseas Highway, on 13 acres of tropical groves and provides exclusive access to one of the most secluded white-sand beaches in the area. Situated on a former pineapple plantation previously owned by the hotel’s namesake Captain Ben Baker, Baker’s Cay Resort pays homage to the historical notion that pineapples serve as a symbol of hospitality and elegance.

Digney York started the renovation of this 200-room resort and was 75% complete when Hurricane Irma devastated the property. Starting over from bare studs DYA rebuilt the property with new drywall partitions, HVAC, electrical, and life safety. Throughout the extended schedule we worked closely with ownership and the insurance company to minimize the time the property was out of operation. Today the resort showcases fresh new modern guestrooms and suites with hand carved furnishings and custom tiled bathrooms with new walk-in showers.

Digney York Associates has completed a comprehensive renovation of the New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott. This dramatic update reflects improvements made to all 443 guestrooms and guest corridors. The guestrooms received new finishes including new paint, wall covering, carpet, LVT, and new FF&E. Bathrooms are also new with the old tubs replaced with luxury showers in many of the rooms. Digney York worked closely with ownership to minimize operational disruptions while renovating all nine guestroom floors in under four months.
